Safety: The brush is secured to prevent anything from getting between the rotating parts. This works through a Stop/Return system where if the brush feels resistance the brush automatically turns back and stops to prevent for example the tail from getting caught in the brush. Include Catnip: To get your cat used to the brush, the package include catnip. You can add this to the brush through the flap. This way you can get your cat used to the machine (Note, not all cats react to the catnip).

Step By Step: At the beginning, it may take some getting used to. Therefore, hold the brush and comb the head or body for the first time with the device loose in your hands. So teach your cat to recognize and understand the device. Once your cat is familiar with it and loves it, screw it to the wall and give it and place where the cat can enjoy it.
